MY GARDEN
A few months ago I took this photo of the lemon Balm growing in my garden at my Home in Japan.
SO HEALTHY
I was reading up on Lemon Balm, apparently it has many medicinal properties. Not only is it an antioxidant (prevents cancer), it has antiseptic properties (kills Bacteria and some viruses), has calming effects (relieves stress and helps us to relax). Not only all the above but also if you rub it on your skin it works as a mosquito repellant.
MY CUP OF TEA
I have recently become hooked on Moroccan style mint tea. the best version that I have ever had (and i’ve tried quite a few) is a blend of lemon balm, spearmint and Chinese green tea. if made properly it is really fantastic! here is my recipeĀ MINT TEA.
FOOD-GUY
I grow Lemon balm here in Indiana! I love to add it to freshly brewed tea – and nice to know that it’s healthy too – thanks for the helpful info!
